Go Natural

According to Interiorzine.com the first trend we will see in 2017 will be the return of the organic to the natural. “So when it comes to a bathroom design the direction will be: super clean colors, seamless lines and practical and simple arrangement of spaces but with the dash of organic coziness and elegance.”

A good way to create a natural look will be to use stone, metal and wood in your designs.

Gold is the new gray?

According to Maria Killman, Gold is new gray.  Killman believes that gray on the way out and Gold will become the new go to color. She says the gold trend should last 10 to 15 years.

Color is in

Another trend about to hit it big in 2017 will be more bold colors. While a contemporary look of grays, do dominate the market Killman, the color expert, says 2017 will be the beginning of the shift to more bold colors.

Gray is not out yet…

This does not mean the contemporary gray will just disappear overnight. According to the interior writer Kate Watson-Smyth, “Gray gives life to everything in a room. Gray makes everything look more modern and fresh. Gray makes all your possessions pop out. It gives them presence. A good picture on a gray wall — it’s amazing!” So, as much as Killman would like to see gray disappear this trend is still gaining momentum. I predict that the trend will last at least seven more years.
